It started with a laugh in 2012.
English Banter kicked off back in 2012 with one simple mission: to be the funniest, daftest, most gloriously pointless corner of the British internet. What began as a cheeky page sharing memes and wind-ups between mates has grown into a full-blown banter empire.
Fast forward to today and we’re sitting pretty on over 190,000 followers and counting — a proper community of quiz-obsessed, poll-voting, list-scrolling legends who know that the best way through a Monday is a good laugh.
Over the years we’ve delivered millions of laughs, settled countless pub debates, and caused more than a few "well actually" arguments in the group chat. We wouldn’t have it any other way.
We’re not here to change the world. We’re here to make you smile on your tea break. And after more than a decade, we like to think we’ve got pretty good at it.
